A BEAUTIFUL JOURNEY BY MOTORBIKE FROM CHAD TO POLAND HAS ENDED!

After leaving Africa we had exactly 4000 km to Poznań. We were not welcomed very warmly by Europe; rain, strong wind and 13 degrees centigrade is not exactly what one expects in May in the southern countries of our continent.
As it was planned a few months before, we appeared in Poznań exactly on 2 June at 20.05. Our Honda 125 (11KM) had 26.000km on the clock, which was 11 000 km more than we had anticipated when we were setting off on this crazy expedition from Chad to Poland. Thanks to the kindness of our friends: Paula, Agata, Patyczak, Michał and Darek, who prepared the whole celebration, we went straight to the event on our motorbike. The venue was our favourite pub STARE KINO (Old Cinema). Our GUESTS, family and several dozen friends, were waiting for us there. Wonderful atmosphere, great music, good drinks, snacks and biscuits as well as the show of our photos of the whole of the African journey made us party till the crack of dawn!
Our journey left unforgettable memories. In West Africa we travelled across 15 countries starting from Chad (where we bought our bike) via Cameroon, Niger, Benin, Togo, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Guinea, Liberia, Sierra Leone, Guinea-Bissau, Senegal, The Gambia, Mauritania, Western Sahara and Morocco doing 22 000 km altogether. Next, we travelled another 4000 km in Europe (Spain, France, Italy, Austria, Germany and the Czech Republic) which comes to a total of 26 000 crazy kilometers of this beautiful journey. We will always remember everything we experienced during these 6 months spent on the road. The wind in our hair, gusts of hot African air, unforgettable views, wonderful people of this continent.

AFTER 6 MONTHS, ON JUNE 6, 2012 WE ARRIVE IN POZNAŃ, THE BIKE HAS 26 000 km ON THE CLOCK!!!
Now, it is time for us to cope with the everyday humdrum of the life in Poland. Although, initially, there was no sign of tragedy, yet it happened. The problems we contend with in everyday life lead us to a conflict. In the end I make a decision to split up with Ania.

However, life goes on. My first reaction after this very sad personal experience was to leave all this crappy world here behind and set off to the exotic Indochinese Peninsula to explore the unknown to me expanses of this part of Asia.

However, after thinking it through, I decided to stay in Poland J (I am curious myself how long it will last).

The attempt to stay in Poland for a longer time soon misfired. Those who know me knew for sure it would end this way. There is no denying that I am drawn to the world and I cannot help it. I wanted to make multimedia presentations for young people and students. Before I started doing it properly, the magnet of travel began working with its magic force. I cannot say NO! Today, my thoughts are already in Asia. I think I will land in Thailand in November, buy a motorbike there and set off on another single-handed journey to penetrate the Indochinese Peninsula, Malaysia and Indonesia, but I am also thinking of visiting Myanmar (Burma), Japan and Korea. My preliminary plan is to come back to Poland only for a short time at the end of June 2013 and after quick repacking to go to New York.

JI ALREADY INVITE YOU TO MY WEBSITE TO LOOK AT MY PHOTOS OF ASIA WHICH WILL START TO APPEAR SYSTEMATICALLY IN DECEMBER!
